There is something about the elephants; they're certainly one of my favorites. I did see the leopard and the hyena on the same day. Once the leopard had gotten the kill up into the tree, she kept dropping pieces. It was the hyena's lucky and unlucky day. Before I took the picture of it with the bone in it's mouth, a pack of wild dogs had it trapped in a cluster of bushes. Fortunately, the dogs got bored and fell asleep. Mostly lucky I guess!
Well, this should make up for the little demons trials of earlier! What an exciting adventure you're on! I'm so glad you took this route. What a wonderful bank of imagery you're building - I can't wait to see what you do with this in your writing when life slows down and you get that chance to write again. I hope I'll still be young enough to be in your writing group :)
